Krisna Sudharma, is a Balinese curator and the Artistic Director of Nonfrasa Gallery. He is an advocate for history, culture, and newness, an innovator who entwines these foundations, emphasising their value through projects and exhibitions — situations where these attitudes collide.

Sudharma has initiated collectives, including Nonfrasa, Paras, and his creative studio, Kharma. These projects examine the cultural history of Balinese heritage, its aesthetic principles, and their intersection with contemporary disciplines and devices.

In 2021, he opened a physical space to house his conceptual initiative, Nonfrasa, a term that means ‘a non- phrase'. Here, he presents an ongoing exhibition program of Balinese, Indonesian and international artists. Additionally, Sudharma curates numerous off-site projects, including the group exhibition "Power" in Jakarta, featuring emerging and established Balinese artists, and the site-specific project “Repurposing Paradise," presented at Amandari Hotel.

Repurposing Paradise undertook a thoughtful examination of Bali's "paradise," a concept historically fraught with contradictions due to its oscillation between global capitalist attractions and the island's complex cultural tapestry. This exhibition challenged the superficial perception of Bali as merely a commodity, leveraging theoretical frameworks to dissect staged authenticity and cultural commodification.
